Kendall Packaging Achieves GMP Inspection Rating of Superior
Nov 01, 2011
Kendall Packaging is pleased to announce our 2011 GMP Inspection rating of SUPERIOR at both facilities. We have received this Recognition of High Achievement-Superior award in the past, but with AIB International’s recent revisions to their Consolidated Standards for Inspection, this year’s audit was the toughest yet.
Since 2002, Kendall Packaging has set the bar high by participating in AIB international’s GMP Inspection. Since starting the GMP Inspections, we have received nothing less than excellent ratings and have received the Superior rating 7 times between our two facilities.
With the elimination of the Excellent rating, as well as many other stricter revisions, AIB International has made the inspection guidelines and Superior rating that much tougher to meet. The Consolidation Standards for Inspection only allows those facilities whose scores fall within the top 25% of all scores to receive the Recognition of High Achievement – Superior award. Both Kendall Packaging facilities made the top 25%.
Our Kendall Team looks forward to further improving our facilities for even better scores at each facility come 2012’s inspections. We take food safety seriously and will work hard to make the safest product for you and your customers.
